Emma Freeman
Emma Freeman is an internationally acclaimed award-winning director. Her work includes The Family Next Door, Fake, The Newsreader S1, 2 & 3, Interview with the Vampire S2, Love Me S1, Clickbait, Stateless, Glitch, Secret City, Sisters, Tangle, Puberty Blues, Love My Way and Secret Life of Us. Emma won the 2024 ADG Award for Best Direction for Fake Ep 5, her work on seasons 1 & 2 of The Newsreader led to both AACTA and ADG Award wins for Best Direction and Best Drama Series - along with 2020 AACTA and ADG wins for Stateless. In 2021 Emma directed the first season of Love Me for Warner Bros/Aquarius Films for which she was nominated for the 2022 AACTA Award for Best Direction in a Drama or Comedy. More recently, she was set-up director and Executive Producer on Hoodlum Entertainment’s upcoming romantic drama Two Years Later for Paramount +.
