Nina Oyama is a comedian, writer and actress. As a stand up comedian and on-screen presence, Nina is known for her charming, quick witted persona and extremely average face. She is best known for playing ditzy receptionist Courtney on Utopia, doing comedic reporting on Tonightly with Tom Ballard and The Weekly and performing stand up on Just for Laughs Sydney. In 2021, Nina's sophomore stand up comedy show Nina Oyama is "Doing Me" Right Now sold out its entire season at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which led to appearances on The Project, Australia Debates and Win The Week. As an actress, Nina has worked on shows such as Kinne Tonight, Dom and Adrian 2020 and Mikki Vs The World (a kids sketch show about Mental Health) where she got to play many fun, light hearted characters, including a Giant Panda that suffers from depression. Nina is part of the main cast of Deadloch, a crime comedy noir coming to Amazon Prime in 2023.

Beginning her musical journey as a virtuoso pianist, Dami is renowned for her emotive and powerful vocals since capturing our hearts when she won The X Factor Australia. She has released a string of hit albums and singles such as ‘Alive’, ‘Super Love’ and ‘Gladiator’. She went onto become ‘Eurovision Royalty’ in 2016 when she earned the highest score ever achieved by an Australian entry with her smash hit ‘Sound of Silence’ charting in 38 countries across the globe. Dami’s self-titled album debuted at #1 on the charts and went on to be a platinum seller. She has released a further five studio albums, which all have been top ten charting albums.

Lachlan & Austin Macfarlane are multi-disciplined filmmakers and content creators, whose creative work has amassed over 500 million views online. They have translated their industry experience in traditional media to social media with engaging and shareable content. The brothers have travelled the world working with brands such as Warner Bros, Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures, represented Australia at Cannes after winning the Cannes Young Lions Film category and were awarded Most Influential 2023 Creator by the Australian Influencer Marketing Council Awards. In the commercial space, the Macfarlane Brothers are on Haven’t You Done Well Productions’ directing roster. They are currently developing a web series funded by Screen Australia.

Meg Washington

Meg Washington is a recording artist, songwriter and composer for screen and stage. More recently, she has also become a screenwriter and film producer. Meg is a platinum-selling and ARIA award winning musician with an extensive catalogue, ranging across musical styles from jazz to radio pop to musical theatre. 

Under their production company, Speech & Drama Pictures, Meg and artistic partner Nick Waterman have co-written a screenplay adaptation of How to Make Gravy, based on the iconic Paul Kelly song. They co-produced the film with Academy-Award nominated producer Schuyler Weiss and Warner Bros Australia. The film features three original songs composed by Meg.

Meg also wrote the songs and co-wrote the story for the new feature film musical, The Deb, directed by Rebel Wilson for her production company, in conjunction with Unigram and AI.

 

Meg composed the music for Fisk seasons 2 and 3, co-created by and starring Kitty Flanagan, for Porchlight Films and the ABC. For her work on season 2, she was nominated for the 2024 AACTA Award for Best Original Score in Television, along with Daniel O’Brien.

As an actor, Meg is the voice of Calypso on the popular children’s TV show Bluey. 

For the stage, Meg is currently under commission from Opera Queensland to write a new opera based on the Georgia Blain novel Between a Wolf and a Dog.

She has composed the music for a number of screen projects including Warwick Thornton’s The Beach, David Wenham’s Ellipsis (2017) and Shannon Murphy’s Eaglehawk (2016).

In 2014, Meg delivered a TEDx talk about living with a stutter, yet being able to fluently sing. Her talk was selected by TED for its global platform, and has been viewed over 2 million times.

Talijah Blackman-Corowa is young talent forging a career in film and television. Her breakout role was in Goalpost Pictures’ Black Snow, appearing as ‘Isabel Baker’ in the series produced for Stan and Sundance Central. Talijah can currently be seen in the ABC television series Plum as ‘Ainslee’. Coming up next will be the second series of Deadloch, as well as the short film See Saw and web series The Death of Bunny Munro. 


Talijah is also building her experience behind the scenes, having recently worked as a Directors Attachment on Black Snow Season 2. She is currently expanding her skills as a Writers Attachment on ABC series In Limbo S2.

Shane Jacobson is a multi-award-winning actor, presenter, producer and entertainer who has worked with some of the biggest names in show business including Jack Thompson, Jeremy Clarkson, Bryan Brown, Jeremy Renner & Guy Pearce.

 

Some of his notable film credits include: The Bourne Legacy, Charlie & Boots with Paul Hogan, Oddball, The Dressmaker with Kate Winslet, Ladies in Black and the hit Aussie classic, Kenny.

 

Shane has been the host of Top Gear Australia, Little Big Shots, The Real Full Monty, The Great Australian Bake Off and a judge on Australia’s Got Talent to name a few.

 

In 2008, Shane won a Helpmann Award for his supporting role in Guys & Dolls. Some of Shane’s other on-stage roles include: The Drowsy Chaperone with Geoffrey Rush, QI Live with Stephen Fry, 8 The Play with Rachel Griffiths, Shane Warne – The Musical with Lisa McCune, Mother & Son with Noeline Brown, The Rocky Horror Show, Hairspray and most recently Midnight: The Cinderella Musical and The Odd Couple with Todd McKenney.

 

As an author, Shane has penned his best-selling bio The Long Road to Overnight Success and his exploration of his life as a motoring tragic in his second book, Rev Head. Shane is a passionate producer of film, television, and events including: The West Gate Bridge Disaster: The Untold Stories documentary, the TV show: ManSpace, That’s Not My Dog! comedy festival and most recently, television comedy specials: The Roast of Paul Hogan and The Roast of John Cleese.
