Games and the Screen Industry: The Future is Here

Join us for a compelling panel discussion exploring the dynamic intersection of the games and film/TV industries. This session will examine how these creative fields are converging through shared technologies, including advanced CGI, motion capture, and virtual production techniques. Featuring Dylan Miklashek, founder of Loco Game and board director at Screen Queensland, Sue Swinburne, head of marketing and entertainment at Halfbrick Studios, Nathan Anderson, general manager of Toast Interactive, Sorcha Millichan Nagle, employer brand & industry relations manager at Playside Studios, Hannah Crosby, lead artist at Gameloft and Myriad CEO, Duncan Jones. The panel will delve into the overlapping roles and skills required in both industries. 


The discussion will also explore pathways for transitioning between these mediums and the exciting opportunities emerging from shared intellectual property.
