Yolandi Franken

Yolandi Franken is an accomplished producer with a career spanning since 2001. She has produced four feature films, two TV series, a two-part documentary series, and numerous shorter format stories, music videos, and TVCs. Her work has been showcased and awarded at prestigious film festivals like Cannes, Melbourne International Film Festival, and TIFF, with global digital distribution on platforms such as Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Apple TV. Yolandi's notable projects include "Streets of Colour," nominated for AACTA and SPA awards, and "Carmen & Bolude," which was selected for the Ontario Creates International Financing Forum at TIFF.  


Beyond her production work, Yolandi has been an influential figure in the industry, serving as a former NSW Board Member and Secretary of WIFT (Women in Film & Television) and  creating the Cause Film Festival. She has taught at institutions like AFTRS and Sydney Film School and spoken at major events, including SXSW and the Sydney Film Festival. Yolandi  is also recognised for her commitment to equality and diversity, having been nominated as Australian of the Year in 2015 and frequently featured on podcasts discussing these topics.
