Sarah Taylor transitioned from a career as a school teacher in 2017 to pursue work as a stunt performer. Her first full-time role in the stunt department was on Reef Break in 2019, where she worked as both a stunt double and the stunt office coordinator. Under the mentorship of stunt coordinator and safety officer Jimmy Christiansen, Sarah developed a strong appreciation for the critical role of safety on set. Noticing the ongoing challenge of sourcing experienced safety officers, she identified an opportunity to expand her skill set and increase her value within the department, subsequently gaining her certification as a safety officer. In 2025, Sarah became a SAG-AFTRA certified intimacy coordinator and is now actively building her practice in that field alongside her stunt and safety work.
