Keir Beck: Director, Stunt Coordinator and Filmmaker Starting his career as a stunt performer 26 year ago, Western Australian native Keir Beck quickly rose to become one of the world’s leading stunt performers, rigger, stunt coordinator, and now 2nd unit director. A trailblazer in the industry, Keir pioneered Australia’s first suspended camera system, enabling directors like George Miller, Mel Gibson, Guy Ritchie, and Baz Luhrmann to capture groundbreaking visuals that redefined action filmmaking. This innovation marked the beginning of Keir’s creative journey, taking him across the globe as he designed and executed stunt action sequences for some of the biggest films in Hollywood.
Keir’s work has earned him two World Stunt Taurus Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and recognition from BAFTA for his outstanding contributions to the film industry. He is also a proud member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His credits include iconic films such as Casino Royale, Mad Max: Fury Road, Thirteen Lives, Matrix Resurrections, Uncharted, The Fall Guy, Fast 9 and Fast X. In addition to his extensive stunt work, Keir has expanded his career into producing, writing, and directing.
