Katrina Irawati Graham
Katrina Irawati Graham is a screenwriter, director and playwright. She works in many genres including feminist horror, crime and drama. She co-directed the STAN drama series Bali 2002 receiving two ADG nominations for her work.
Her Indonesian ghost story, White Song, is part of Australia’s first all-female directed horror anthology, Dark Whispers (SBS, prod. Hemlock & Cedar) and Severin Films’ All Haunts Be Ours Folk Horror Compendium (Volume Two). Raesita Grey, the feature film of that story was developed through Stranger with my Face Attic Lab, Screen Queensland and selected for the Adelaide Film Festival x Jogya Asian Film Festival market. Katrina has adapted a feature script of her supernatural play, Siti Rubiyah.
She has written two award winning crime web series and has been in writers’ rooms for ABC and SBS. She is currently in development with Mother Tongue, an antiracist midwifery drama series. She is Development Producer at Ana Tiwary’s indiVisual films – international. Known for her expertise in cultural safety and intersectional gender advocacy, Katrina celebrates her Indonesian-Australian heritage.
