Join a lineup of some of Queensland’s most celebrated authors for a captivating exploration into the art of storytelling. 


In this dynamic panel discussion, John Birmingham (He Died With a Falafel in His Hand, The Cruel Stars), Steve MinOn (First Name Second Name), Helen Marshall (The Migration, The Hanging Game) and Emily O'Grady (The Yellow House) will share the inspirations, craft, and dedication that underpins their work. Delving into the intricacies of character development, the nuances of their creative processes and the craft of engaging storytelling as these authors share anecdotes, reflect on their unique writing journeys and unpack how the Sunshine State has influenced their work.
