After stepping into the Australian cosplay scene in 2011, Twerkin Gherkin has become a master of cosplay and craft, having made over 70 costumes throughout her career. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a highly experienced seamstress, Gherkin’s works have taken her to a number of pop culture conventions across Australia. Sharing her love of sewing and wig styling, she has had opportunities to guest at national conventions such as Supanova, Oz Comic Con, Gladpop, FraserPop, SMASH, and more. A part of her guesting role often includes judging cosplay competitions, where she is able to share her vast cosplay knowledge that has led her into a professional career as a crafter and seamstress.
