Shontell Ketchell
Shontell Leah Ketchell is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander filmmaker and the Director of Pandamonium Films, a First Nations, female-led production company dedicated to bold storytelling and authentic First Nations representation across scripted and factual content.
Shontell has contributed to projects for ABC, NITV, SBS, CBS and the BBC, with credits across both drama and comedy, including Black Comedy, Barrumbi Kids, Gold Diggers and Ghosts.
Her latest feature documentary Marliya, developed with Director Stephen Page and Producer Ewan Cutler, received development support from the Shark Island Foundation following a successful pitch at AIDC 2025. She is also developing her debut romantic comedy feature Adorkable with Bonsai Films, which has received funding from both Screen Queensland and Screen Australia.
