Shonee Samia
Shonee Samia is a Gold Coast-based actor, producer, and motion-capture performer. As a proud Maori-Samoan actor, she brings emotional depth, heart and truth to every role, with recent credits including starring as "The Tourist" in the 2024 feature film "The Nut Farm," a "Soldier" and "Officer Mills" in the 2025 Battlefield 6 video game (voice + motion capture) and recently as "MO" in "Ruff & Ruby," (a nominated AACTA award web series) and "OFFICER KENA" in "The Brutal Alchemy of Water" (Short film). Shonee also won "Best Actor and Lead Performance" as "Shandi" at the Yeah Nah Horror Festival for her performance in "Ripe for Change." Trained in stunts she has officially obtained her first lead stunt double credit for a major US feature film set for a cinema release in 2026. A two-time Gold Coast Screen Professional of the Year nominee (2024/2025), Shonee continues to craft stories through her performances and storytelling abilities that embody mana, soul, heart and truth - both on screen and off.
