Sarah Scheller is an award-winning Australian screenwriter. Most recently, Sarah was the showrunner on The Family Next Door with Beyond Entertainment for ABC TV, as well as showrunning the second season of Strife, a comedy drama with Made Up Stories for Binge/FOXTEL. The Family Next Door was the was the biggest non-childrens’ ABC iView launch in history, while the first season of Strife was BINGE’s biggest original series premiere. 

She is currently in development on various projects, including a comedy series for ABC TV and CBS Studios, and a comedy drama for Apple TV.

Sarah’s first television script, The Letdown pilot, won the AACTA Award in 2016 for Best Television Screenplay. The Letdown, a co-production with ABC TV and Netflix went on to win the AACTA for Best Comedy Program in 2018 and 2019. Sarah was also nominated for Best Direction in a Television Drama or Comedy at the 2019 AACTA awards for her work on the second series.
