Robyn Malcolm

Robyn Malcolm is a highly-acclaimed actor from New Zealand with numerous film, television and theatre credits to her name, both in Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. In 2024 she won best actress at the French Series Mania festival in France and in 2025 was nominated for a BAFTA for ‘After The Party”; a TV series she co-created, co-developed, produced and acted in. It garnered world wide attention and critical acclaim when it screened on TVNZ in New Zealand, ABC in Australia and Channel 4 in the UK. Currently still screening on these channels it was reviewed as the best show to ever come out of New Zealand and The Guardian UK reviewed Robyn’s performance as the best of the year. Since her first Australian role in the feature film Burning Man, Robyn has become well known to Australian audiences for a wide variety of characters in comedy and drama alike. She can currently be seen in the Netflix series The Survivors and ABC’s Mystery Road: Origin 2, and in January RUN for Warner Brothers and Binge. Her Australian credits range from the highly acclaimed Jane Campion series Top of the Lake , ABC’s Rake, The Code 2, three seasons as the dragster Mum ‘Julie Wheeler’ in the award-winning comedy Upper Middle Bogan, three seasons of Wanted, Harrow S1 & S2, The Principal and Wake in Fright. In the US, Robyn appeared in the Emmy Award winning series Black Bird, Scott Coopers epic western film _Hostiles s_tarring Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike and action fantasy drama The Outpost S1 & S2.
