Nadine Bates is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Like A Photon Creative, an international award-winning production company based in Australia. Nadine has written and produced for the likes of Sesame Street USA, Disney Jnr, the ABC, Universal Content Group, Macmillan Publishing etc. Since 2018, Nadine (through LAPC) has produced 8 animated theatrical feature films that have sold in over 179 territories globally, 3 hypercasual games, 2 television series, 75 digital picture books, 5 apps, and pumped over $74M through the screen economy in Queensland, Australia. Now in production on her 9th animated feature film, LAPC has partnered with Crayola Studios to bring to life the wildly successful Harper Collins book; NEVERENDING PILLOWFORT. Nadine was named MIPCOM's "Ones to Watch, Producer" in 2020, awarded co-recipient of QUT's "Outstanding Entrepreneurial Alumni" in 2023, and won 3 Academy of 'Interactive and Visual Arts Davey Awards'.
In 2025 Nadine and Kristen were jointly awarded the 'Groundbreaker Award' by the Australian Women's Film Festival for their achievements over the past ten years. Like a Photon Creative was also awarded the 'Lord Mayor's Small Business of the Year Award' for 2025. Currently, she sits on several industry advisory panels, is regularly invited to judge the International Emmy Awards.
