Matthew Bon is an AWGIE-nominated screenwriter. He began his career on drama serial Neighbours as a script coordinator, before going on to work on hundreds of episodes as a writer, script editor and storyliner, as well as writing and script editing on the teen-focused spin-off Erinsborough High. 

Since then, he has worked on a number of other young teen and children’s projects, including the Matchbox/Film Camp series Turn Up the Volume, Fremantle/Nickelodeon’s Rock Island Mysteries, Princess Pictures’ Planet Lulin and Windmill Picture’s Beep & Mort. He was recently selected by VicScreen to take part in their Originate Series development program, is working on projects for a range of production companies, and is developing an original series with Northern Pictures, which has support from the ACTF and Screen NSW.
