Marc Woolridge
For over 20 years, Marc Wooldridge held various senior marketing and distribution roles within 20th Century Fox International, including ten years as the Managing Director for the Theatrical division overseeing Australasia.
In 2020, Marc founded Maslow Entertainment, a Sydney based, theatrically focused film distribution company. Maslow is focused on identifying original and compelling Australian feature films with a clear focus on its audience and a strong marketing hook. Led by a ‘discovery to distribution’ approach, Marc encourages early and collaborative relationships with local filmmakers to help align their creative vision with the best commercial outcomes throughout the life cycle of each film.
To date, Maslow has released over 35 films theatrically, including 15 Australian features; among them, the break-out horrors Talk To Me and Late Night With The Devil, this hit Camino inspired film, The Way My Way, the spellbinding First Nations horror, The Moogai and The Correspondent, based on the gripping true story of the Australian journalist Peter Greste’s arrest and imprisonment in a Cairo jail in 2015.
