Leeanne Torpey is an impact producer at Minderoo Pictures. Her film and TV credits include S3 of War On Waste, Magda’s Big National Health Check, Ithaka: A Fight To Free Julian Assange, Big Deal &  Wakefield. She has over 15 years of experience working in media and human rights advocacy in refugee advocacy, a recipient of a RRRT Human Rights Award and a Google Media Award. Leeanne was the head of the UN Global Campaign to End Immigration Detention of Children. Her career also includes being a Senior Policy Adviser and a reporter for the ABC.
