For nearly ten years Ben has created documentary and drama focused on meaningful, authentic Indigenous Australian experiences. He’s worked with Indigenous filmmakers such as Leah Purcell, Bain Stewart, Allan Collins, Murray Lui, Ivan Sen, and completed attachments on Taika Waititi’s ‘Thor: Ragnarök’ in the Assistant Directors department, and ‘Aquaman’, where he shadowed producer Rob Cowan. 

He’s also produced on several major network reality TV shows, including 'Bondi Rescue’, and directed several short drama’s that have screened at major film festivals. His LGBTI themed “On Stage” screened at Sydney Film Festival in 2014. In 2020 and 2022 Ben directed and produced “Lardil Earth” as part of NITV’s Elements series, and documentary series pilot “Walkabouts”.

In 23/24 he’s has been part of Screenworks Writers and Directors pathways programs. Now Ben’s focused on writing and directing professionally, while creating his own original feature-film and TV series for worldwide audiences. He’s most excited about, ’Money Trap’, a coming of age adventure-thriller, and ‘Land & Sea’, a documentary series about the impact of climate-change on traditional lifestyle and land management in Australia.
