Sora Wong
Sora plays the main cast role of Piper in the feature film Bring Her Back, the highly
anticipated follow up film from Directors Danny & Michael Philippou, following the global
success of Talk To Me. This performance earned her a Best Young Actress Award from the
Music City Film Critics Association, and a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Film at
the 2026 AACTA Awards.
Her extraordinary talent has also already caught the attention of a number of Casting
Directors both within Australia and abroad, seeing her shortlisted for high profile projects.
Sora is at the beginning of what is sure to be a very exciting career.
She participates in short courses with NIDA and is also a keen athlete, with interests in
netball and cross country running, as well as the arts, playing piano and clarinet and
performing in school productions.
Sora is also vision impaired. Born with coloboma and microphthalmia, Sora faces the
challenge of being fully blind in her left eye, with very weak vision in the right. Yet Sora has
consistently overcome her impairment to pursue and achieve her goals.
