Sarah Christie
Sarah Christie is the Head of Local Originals for Australia and New Zealand at Amazon MGM Studios, where she oversees the creative development of local original productions. In this role, she is responsible for all creative aspects across development, production, and post-production.
At Amazon, Sarah has worked on Narrow Road to the Deep North, Deadloch S1, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, as well as the upcoming Deadloch S2 and Final Siren: Inside the AFL.
Previously, Sarah was the Development Producer at Goalpost Pictures, where she managed the company’s film and television slate. While at Goalpost, she was Co-Producer on Black Snow (Stan, Sundance Now) and contributed to projects including New Gold Mountain (SBS), Unjoo Moon’s I Am Woman, Wayne Blair’s Top End Wedding, Fighting Season (Foxtel), Leigh Whannell’s Upgrade (produced with Blumhouse), Cleverman (ABC TV, SundanceTV), and Neil Armfield’s Holding the Man.
Sarah also served as Development Producer on James Vaughan’s debut feature film Friends and Strangers. Earlier in her career, she worked as an entertainment lawyer at Media Arts Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
