Nick Smith has over 25 years’ film and television experience working directly in Locations on productions of various scope as well as servicing the industry through entertainment travel or as an Industry Development Manager (Film & TV). Nick has enjoyed working in Locations with a range of Studios including Amazon, Disney, Sony Pictures, Fox Studios, MGM, NBC Universal, Netflix and Warner Brothers on diversely creative productions both large and humble budget feature films and television series for cinema, TV and streaming services. 

Nick is currently the Supervising Location Manager on a Sony Pictures film on the Gold Coast and in the past few years has completed the same role on the Amazon feature The Bluff, NBC Universal’s La Brea S3, the Netflix Series Boy Swallows Universe (3 Episodes), Disney’s Nautilus series (10 Episodes) and the MGM (Amazon) and Ron Howard film Thirteen Lives. Some of Nick’s earlier credits include: Scooby Doo, Aquamarine, Mortified and Swimming Upstream. 

Nick specialises in all aspects of film and television location services from Supervising Location Manager to Location Scouting. He has a large collection of contacts in both public and privately owned locations from modern and period city and suburban architecture to rainforests, waterways, farmland, valleys, and wilderness.
