Jessica Butland is the Founder and Managing Director of Radioactive Pictures, a leading production and distribution company in Australia and New Zealand. Jessica has produced numerous feature films including ‘Ruby’s Choice’ (2022), starring Jane Seymour (Live and Let Die; Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman); ‘The Red’ (2024) with Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens); and ‘Zombie Plane’ (2024) starring Vanilla Ice, Sophie Monk and Chuck Norris. 

The distribution branch of Radioactive was born when Butland saw a need in the Australian film industry for a distributor to champion Australian cinema and to enhance the commercial value of Australian stories and their ability to perform both nationally and internationally. 

Radioactive is now a prominent all right distributor in the ANZ territories. Jessica Butland plans to use the next 10 years to tell Australian stories on the world stage.
