Jacob Richardson is an Australian director whose work has made international headlines. Jacob’s debut feature film ‘The Aegean’, shot in Greece, premiered at the Brisbane International Film Festival and the Greek Film Festival of Australia in 2024. The film also participated in the AGORA market program of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and is slated for an early 2025 release in Australia. Jacob’s debut short film, ‘Salt of the Earth’ - which told the story of the Australian man who invented Chicken Salt - premiered at the Adelaide Festival and won Best Documentary at the Short & Sweet Film Festival Queensland. Jacob is currently in post-production on feature documentary ‘A Moment In The Sun’, and in development on a slate of projects through his production company Film Focus Productions.
