Torres Strait Storytellers: Creativity Meets Culture

Join us as we bring together a vibrant panel of Torres Strait Islander creatives working across film, television, art and literature for an insightful exploration of creativity, culture, craft, and the enduring power of storytelling.

Sit down with a talented line of panelists for a session moderated by Screen Queensland’s Head of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Danielle Ah Boo – as they share their stories of connection to art and heritage. The discussion will unpack how their unique cultural perspective shapes their work and the stories they tell through it, exploring the rich depths of Torres Strait Island culture and how it's woven into contemporary art and contexts.

Come along and celebrate the skill and talents of the creatives who are redefining what it means to tell a story  —  whether on the page, screen or stage.

More panellists announced soon.
